WOODROW ODOM LUCAS was born in Columbia, Maryland, in 1974.

He is married to Machel Lucas, he has an 11 year old daughter named Autumn and an a 2 year old named Gabrielle. Woodrow recently won both the Trailblazer Award from NBMBAA and the Jo Andrews Award from the Nashville Mayor’s office.  He has written two books, his first work was a fictional book entitled "A Book of Rhythm". His latest work has just been published and is entitled “Insane Joy”.  A Book of Rhythm is a social and cultural critique of America couched in the framework of allegorical fiction.  Insane Joy is a semi-autobiographical narrative which describes a Grandfather’s recovery from Schizoaffective Disorder.

Woodrow currently resides in Nashville where he is pursuing a PhD in management and Christian ordination.
